1. General terms

By booking an appointment, purchasing a treatment, package, membership, voucher, or product from Thameside Aesthetics (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website. The terms in place at the time of booking/purchase will apply.

2. Bookings and appointments

  • All appointments must be booked in advance via our online booking system or by phone (where applicable).
  • Appointment times are reserved specifically for you. Please arrive on time so we can deliver your treatment safely and without rushing.
  • We cannot accept bookings made on behalf of someone else.

3. Consultation and suitability

  • All treatments are subject to consultation and suitability.
  • If you are a new client, unsure what to book, or requesting a treatment you have not had with us before, we recommend booking a Consultation first. General Treatment Consultation is fully refundable against first treatment if booked within 30 days.
  • For certain treatments (including but not limited to injectable and laser services), a consultation may be required before treatment can go ahead.
  • We reserve the right to decline, postpone, or modify a treatment if it is not clinically appropriate, safe, or suitable at the time of your appointment. This includes circumstances where relevant medical history is not disclosed or where aftercare/pre-care cannot be followed.

4. Medical information and consent

  • You must complete any required consultation forms and provide accurate, complete medical history and medication information.
  • You must inform us of changes to your medical and social history including medications or recent procedures prior to each appointment
  • You will be asked to sign a consent form before treatment where applicable.

5. Patch tests (where required)

  • Some treatments (for example, laser services) may require a patch test before treatment can proceed.
  • Patch test requirements will be explained at booking or consultation. If you book a treatment that requires a patch test but you have not completed one, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

6. Prescriptions and regulated treatments (if applicable)

  • Some treatments may require a prescription. Where required, prescriptions will only be issued following appropriate clinical assessment.
  • Prescriptions are not guaranteed and remain at the discretion of the prescriber.

7. Booking fees Deposits and payments

  • A booking fee deposit may be required to secure your appointment, all booking fees are non-refundable. Booking fees Amounts and when they are taken will be made clear at the time of booking.
  • Booking fees are typically deducted from the total treatment cost on the day of treatment.
  • Where a treatment is deemed unsuitable at consultation, we will explain next steps. Any refund/credit of booking fee deposits will be handled in line with the policy stated at the time of booking.
  • We are unable to transfer your booking or booking fees to another individual.

8. Cancellation and rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 72hrs notice.
  • For cancellations or reschedules made within 72 hrs (three working days) the full treatment fee will be charged. Cancellations made prior to this will not be charged.
  • If you cancel due to illness or emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always aim to be fair, but fees may still apply depending on notice and circumstances.

9. Late arrival and no-shows

  • If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened to avoid delaying other clients.
  • We are a kind company and if we are able to accommodate your booking safely, then we will do. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to cancel your appointment and it may be treated as a no-show.
  • Thameside Aesthetics will not be pressured into treating late comers if we are rushed, short on time or if it will cause disruption to remaining patients or the rest of the day.
  • If you do not attend your appointment without notice, this is a no-show and the full price of your treatment fee will be charged.

10. Pricing and refunds

  • Prices are shown on our website and/or booking system and may be updated. The price at the time of booking/purchase will apply.
  • Payments for treatments, packages, memberships, vouchers, and products are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind or if you decide not to proceed after purchase/booking, including for packages and memberships.
  • Where a treatment is postponed or adjusted due to clinical suitability, we will discuss appropriate alternatives.

11. Results and expectations

  • Results vary by individual and cannot be guaranteed.
  • We will provide realistic guidance during consultation, including expected timelines and potential risks.
  • You are responsible for following the recommended aftercare and pre-care instructions to support your results and reduce risk.

12. Aftercare and complications

  • Aftercare instructions will be provided verbally and/or in writing.
  • Thameside Aesthetics is not responsible for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare or pre-care guidance, or where relevant medical information was not disclosed.
  • If you experience unexpected symptoms, you must contact us promptly for guidance. If urgent medical attention is required, contact NHS 111/999 as appropriate.

13. Packages

  • Packages are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
  • Packages are paid monthly in advance and are typically a commitment of 12 weeks unless stated otherwise.
  • Unused sessions expire after the validity period and cannot be extended unless agreed in writing at our discretion.
  • Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be shared with other individuals unless explicitly stated.
  • If pricing increases, any remaining sessions will still be honoured within the original package validity period.

14. Memberships

  • Membership terms (monthly fee, what is included, how credit can be used, and any exclusions) will be confirmed at sign-up or within the booking system.
  • Memberships are paid monthly in advance and are typically a commitment of 12 months unless stated otherwise.
  • Memberships can be cancelled with 60 days written notice.
  • Pausing your membership: Memberships can be paused for a maximum of 90 days after which the monthly subscription will resume or the remaining balance of the membership will be charged in full.
  • Membership benefits and credits are not redeemable for cash.

15. Vouchers and gift cards (if applicable)

  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase unless stated otherwise.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Lost or stolen vouchers may not be replaced.

16. Flexible payment / Buy now pay later (BNPL)

  • Many treatments are available with flexible payment options (including BNPL) which may be available through third-party providers and may be subject to eligibility checks, terms, and approval by that provider.
  • Thameside Aesthetics is not responsible for the provider’s decisions, fees, or terms.
  • Where BNPL is used, you remain responsible for meeting the provider’s repayment schedule.

17. Age policy

  • Clients must be 18 or over for treatments unless otherwise permitted by law and clinical policy.
  • We may request proof of age.

18. Photography and marketing (optional)

  • Before-and-after photographs are required for clinical records and are subject to our Privacy Policy
  • Marketing use (website/social media) will only occur with your explicit written consent. You can refuse without affecting your care.

19. Client conduct

  • We aim to maintain a calm, professional environment. We may refuse treatment or ask clients to leave if behaviour is abusive, unsafe, or inappropriate. This will be treated as a no show and subject to our cancellation terms and conditions.
  • Publishing or discussing negative content in relation to Thameside Aesthetics on the internet or via social media or other may result in prosecution.

20. Privacy and data protection

  • We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

21. Complaints policy

We always aim to provide high-quality care. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please contact us so we can help.

22. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

23. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
